Day 10 Ponferrada to Sarria (via bus)
We woke early in Ponferrada ready to get to Sarria and restart our walking of the Camino. Everything went like clockwork in terms of catching our 1.5 hr bus from Ponferrada to Lugo and 30min. train ride from Lugo to Sarria. While walking from the Lugo bus station to the train station, we learned that Lugo is the only city in Spain that has a Roman wall still intact surrounding the entire city!
We made it to Sarria and checked into Albergue Il Nonnol. We dropped our belongings and went walking around the city. Today is mostly about preparing for our walk starting tomorrow to resume the Camino. We are excited to begin exploring these lovely towns on foot again.
I'm all caught up......Seems team DNA is nice and rested and ready to begin "strolling" along the Way again! Thanks again Debbie for the work you've put into this blog....I'm certainly enjoying "mentally" walking along with you. Can't wait for the next day's entries.
